Thanksgiving Day for me this year was much like any other day. No turkey…no stuffing…no gravy…no cranberry relish. I spent the day doing a little online Christmas shopping, and made myself a nice steak dinner, which I enjoyed with a bottle of pinot noir. It was actually a pleasant respite from my publication layout work and a good way to charge my batteries before I get in the kitchen this weekend for yet another culinary extravaganza.
